After missing out on 3 or 4 now, I'm still after one...

Want an SR ideally, or an SRi, GTE/GSi if not stupidly priced. Will considered a modified (tasteful i.e. OEM+) 1.2 etc if it is immaculate.

Luckily it seems as if the car I had someone storing in my garage should be gone by the weekend which frees it up for me again!

If Jason still has his I want it!

Thanks

Simon

The XE GSi? 5 Studded?

Don't really want an XE for insurance purposes. Not that I can't, more I'm not willing too lol

my mates after the 5stud GSi

Looks a bang on motor tbh, but its only gonna be a 2nd car for me so can't justify 6-700 quid a year insurance for it to hardly be used.

i know that feeling

i was gonna buy NJs car, but it would get used maybe 4-5 weeks in the summer, and i couldnt justify having ?5k + Sat in a garage for 11 months of a year, + Insurance costs!!!

Exactley

Hence the want for an SR, maybe on 40's, bit of fun, and something to fill the Nova fix I require lol...

bump

might yet consider a 2.0 in standardish tune, depending on insurance quotes.

Seen that one, does look very clean, is on my watch list.

I'd prefer to buy from here rather than blind on ebay though...

Cheers for picking it out!

oh dear. you people are too poor. there is just no passion. having a nova is like having a small child. it is expensive and smelly but it is funny to look at, you love it and it loves you. money is not an issue. ?5k is not a lot of money and insurance is affordable if you have passion.
if you are looking for a concours nova, you will NOT find one with an XE or ANY non std parts.

Not true

Marks (Nicks) old Nova is concours, that has many mods and a 2.0! Also when I say concours, I mean condition wise, not mods wise.

Poor? Have you got a Mortgage? Bills?

Yes I love Novas, but they're only a hobby, I don't want to pay out almost ?1000 a year in Tax/Insurance/MOT to only use it a few hundred miles a year, hence wanting under a 1.4 which for me would come in at less than ?250 to run a year.

what makes it concours then?

Condition?

Originality? Which if its a Nova like i'm after, putting it back to standard would be easy.

Clean?

which is my point eactly if it is not std ie engine and mods, then it is no more than a show and shine winner.

Ok i'll change my post to show and shine winner

But i'm sure Nick entered concours competitions, could be wrong.
