back seats in the saloon

Hi i wondered if anyone can tell me if the standard rear seats are the only ones that fit in the saloon?

Saloon seats are different to hatch ones, if thats what you mean. Hatch ones have a metal backing built into the seat which the saloon ones don't have, but some hatch ones could be bodged.

If you mean will any other seats fit into a saloon, then its the same as a hatch, bodge it lol

iv seen it done on here, some one cut the backing plate out and fitted rear gsi seats

I too remember someone fitting the full hatch setup into a saloon, with the folding system working too.

The back-rest is a slightly different shape too a hatch, but I did manage to sew some SR rear covers together once to re-trim the saloon bench.
