Just about shows the intellect of the average Impreza owner! (certain PNG members excepted of course, rick!)

Towing a car without the keys in the ignition, way to go!

Thats what you get for towing on a rope you numskulls

Surely the disco driver would of felt the added drag from the tyres scraping along instead of rolling? :tard:

I'd have thought the added drag of pulling an Impreza through a hedge would cause more drag than the tyres lol

Probably would have done the same thing if they'd used a tow bar tbh.

Although i'm guessing the rope either came undone or snapped when the Impreza hit the pole. A bar might have been stronger and done more damage (i.e. pulled the tow hitch off the Disco, or pulled the Impreza further into the post)

Yea but wouldnt it have drag anyway when coming out of the corner as he has to pick the speed back up? But i thought it came off quite good considering the speed he went into that post lol

yes and hopefully he just gave it more gas to compensate!! lol
whether it was a rope or a bar. if the steering lock comes on you are in much sadness like that poor poor man.

I know if I was stood there I definatly would be pointing and laughing (until the owner gets pissed off - then I would be running)

Me and a friend do a lot of scrapping of cars so ive probably been towed just as must as ive driven Lol, but usually when you turn, remember the bar is only 8ft long, so when the steering wheel locked on the impreza it probably would of spun the back end of the other vehicle, but yeh probably hit a post iswell Lol, but it would of been safer and just more inteligent, bars are a great idea and banning ropes for towing was an even better idea in my opinion:thumb:
