starting problem

my nova has been off the road for 3 months now while getting rebuilt, i was going to take the engine out and paint the bay but have decided not to. i had removed all the plumbing and rad etc and the coil. now i have put it back together i cant get it to start. it is a e16se with t40 carbs, and it hasnt been started since november but before then i never had any problems with it. im no mechanic so i may have put something back together wrong but everything looks to be ok. can anyone help?

whats it doing when you try to start it?

Without actually looking at the engine, the fact youve taken it to bits and put it back together indicates anything could be up lol.

Do the normal checks, make sure your getting a spark and fuel and check for any plugs dangling that you may have missed
