hello all you nova people!!!! good afternoon!!!
can anyone tell me if a corsa tank goes onto a nova without much ado?
iam wanting to do away with my external pump and fit an internal pumpage tank from a corsa as there are many in scrap yards around and it has better swirl pot set up. it looks simelar from underneath but iam scared.
please
No.
The filler position is different.
Can be MADE to fit tho.
SPi nova tanks have internal pumps too :)
Can't see any benefits from having a tank with an in-tank pump tbh.
Why are you wanting to swap it ??

this is because the GSI tank is rottage and there are no easy replacements. the pump is also of poor. so swapping all at a time will be of easyier. i could use a non EFI nova tank. i have a lot of them but i dont think there will be a swirl pot inside and will be no use with the EFI pump. (if the tank was more than half empty) during fast corners it may run dry and give me leaning.
there are many corsa tanks available and no novas so a second hand swap may have been much cheaper and of quickness but as Mr Adam suggests it does not sound to be that case. perhaps a new GSI tank and pump is what the doctor will order. but an SPI pump and tank could be of an advantage if i can find one.
i hope i have both answered your questions and created more!!!
thank you!!

SPi tank from a 1.2i along with an MPi in-tank pump from a corsa or astra with a similar engine will do the trick.
The SPi pump doesn't give enough pressure to keep up with an MPi fuel system.
