Are you happy to pay ?2500 to drive your car for a year? Bear in mind if you had an accident you'd probably see absolutely zip of that back.

Tried elephant/admiral with parent as second driver?

Try Morethan, they've been good to me, as were liverpoolvictoria and norwichunion, who did, I don't know if they still do a NCB promotion scheme, they insure you for 9 months instead of a year but you still get a years ncb!

i used quinn direct as they were the cheapest for my corsa gsi at 18

Watch out for those, often other insurance companies won't honour NCB earned that way.

You have an undeclared 1.6 conversion? Why did you even bother buying insurance?

insurance for under 21s these days is a joke

lad who works me me trys to insure 1.0 corsa @ 19, licence for 6 months ?1500 in a safe postcode. Crazy business.

Try swiftcover, a new cheaper insuerer. if your modified forget it tho. adding parents brings your liability and risk rating down as the other driver "could" be driving thus being a lesser risk. its all numbers / figures and stats at the end of the day.

good luck!
