basically i want to know weather to go back to slatted grill with gsi badge

Probably would look better with the black slats. Depends if you like bad boy mesh or not though.

I'd modify the whole grill so the bottoms werent fouling the lights - or cut the grill legs so the lights are complete.

Replace mesh with slats.... less dead flies that way!

Thats how they are from QC.

IIRC there's an indentation that runs in the fibreglass moulding that the grill sits in!
