Stange this to ask but all of you spend long cold evenings/night in the garage so what do you guys have for workshop heaters ?? Ive tried a little propane heater that condesates everythig and an electric one that as much use as a chocolate firegaurd !!

30-odd year old electric fan heater, gets the rent's garage nice and warm within 20 mins on full blast, noisy little beggar though.

Or seeing as there's no chance of getting a car in there, I sometimes put the gas bbq on!

big coat usually, have a pot belly stove aswell, very handy, in work we have this big huge heater that uses the waste oil from engines, great job

Aye. I'm only in a wee single garage below our flat. The 300w halogen light I use does a nice job. People in draughty outbuildings though I feel for tbh.

I run a space heater called 'Heat Demon' it runs off Propane. Heats up my garage a treat!

infra red heater. it only heats you and not the air. you can mount it above your workbench etc... it is a warmth

propane space heatergreat for warming the spot up but if its wet outside it tends to condensate on the floor

Thats the problem i have.... my propane heater cause to much condensation. Im told you dont have the same problem with an electric blow heater such as this....
