Best thing to do is remove the underseal to check for rust. Just because the underseal looks good, doesnt mean its not rusty under it, so just check to be safe.
Then use gravitex on the entire floor, and this can then be painted over. You can use something as simple as hammerite white chassis paint as this will be a fair match to your white nova.
Then waxoil inside the chassis for protection.

It's just a make of stonechip, any will do, get grey not black if you want to paint over it, also you will need a Schutz gun to apply it with.
The UK equivalent is something like Tetrosyl underbody sealant. Just as good.
As mentioned above get rid of the dol stuff 1st - usually round the sill bottoms, jacking points etc will have peeled away. Youre best getting the car on a ramp otherwise it's a very dirty fiddley job to get under the car and get the old stuff off.
You'll also need a compressor with at least 90psi and a spray gun designed to fit on to the sealant canisters - they screw on.
This website's pretty good for car restoration stuff -

Also ebay do tetrosyl underbody sealer -

we use a rubber bitumen(liquid) at work, its cold aplied with a brush amd sets(3-4hours) as rubber water proof membrane against steel concrete etc im thinking off doing mine with this it also has a 25year garantee what you think?

Clean back to metal & primer with an etch primer, red oxide etc then Gravitex it. Paint it in body colour by brush with a decent 1k paint, it will level itself out.
This is mine, it is white but looks blue due to the reflection of the tarpaulin.
The Gravitex gives an uneven stone chip finish.
