can you tax your car at the post office on the the old log book still or not does anyone know

i mean the 1983 log book not the one before the new oneslol

or will we have to go to the local dvla office :thumb:

Dont think you can.
They have to scan the barcode on the logbook. Which an old one wont have.

nope you'll need a new log book apply for one and then you can tax it, or if the part of the log book that is sent away to say its been passed into the motor trade you can tax it same day at a local office

what if you use it as a new keeper bit which they send of for you would that work as there is a part on the back of the log book which you can fill in

might be easier to go and ask them lol

if you have the main part of the v5 yes you can tax it but it has to be upto date not 1983
