My Nova SXi to XE thread

Ive been on the forum a few weeks now, nt had the car all that long and just thought id keep everyone updated with progress etc

I baught it as a standard 1200 SXi on the 10th of this month, the next day id fitted my spax adjustables 60mm drop and my Cav GSi alloys with new tyres:

I then gave it a gd wesh and painted the wheels black

The car is pretty mint, the bottom of the drivers wing is holed (new one required) and theres v slight rot in the O/S rear arch which is nothing really, bootfloor, rear crossmember, sills, under bonnet is all 100% which is half the battle

Im now in search of a decent XE lump to run on bike carbs and fit, ill keep everyone updated

Nice base for a project. My best mate/Nova buddy had a Grey SXi back in 98 era. That ended up with a rebuilt 1600SE with buckets, nice & low etc - then stolen.

Liking it though but, should've kept the wheels silver or done them white. Black rims is so '2 years ago'.
