Errr, no - Group A is shit the bed quick (group B is faster still, but now defunct) and group N is factory cars only (only small tuning allowed)

What group was the great metro 6r4 in ? I have been to a few rallies and there is no other car that can touch them, they sound amazing too, I would love to have one as a road car, it would be amazing, the only metro worth buying :0)

Group B was the bollocks!

my favourite was the Lancia S4, turbocharged, supercharged 4x4 MENTAL!

they got too fast for safety and people were dying on a regular basis hence the withdrawal of group b

A great video to buy is "Too Fast To Race"......it's all about Group B rallying......great fun to watch and gives the full history of the class and the cars :) A must see!

Unfortunately it was cancelled before a lot of the new cars got racing, like the Ford RS200.....it'd only just started when Group B was ditched....Ford were none too pleased! A few other monsters never got to race either, which was a shame :(

I love going to rallies, but I am skinted at the mo, do you lot go to them regularly then ? I would like to get into it seriously, I am thinking of joining a cloub near me to get into co-driving then maybe turn my little baby into a balls out rally car :twisted: If you go regularly I would be interested in coming as well. Keep me up to date with any events and I will be up for it.
