sr ignition upgrage

hi, ive got a 1.4 sr nova mk2 and i want to upgrade the ignition system. ive got a budget of bout 100-150quid. i can either get performance coil, leads and plugs and leave the dizzy. OR go for the optronic system. has ne1 fitted this system b4? do u know what i have to change for it to work??? cheers

Mr russle. you will see no improvement on a fancy pants coil that would justify your 150 pounds. the std electronic ignition is actually very good.and as it has no points, you will see no improvement with fitting another electronic system. the BEST way to get the most from your ign for your money is to lock the adv/ret and fit a megajolt 3D mappable ignition system. this will need set up. but you will see no better performance gain for your moneys than to get this (or simelar)
