i think its about time i started a thread on my nova !!!:thumb: i've been on nova load for a few years and had my nova for three and a half! i've alway had vauxhall in my life as daliy drivers 2x corsa's 4x nova's up untill i got a near new m.g.... lol ..... so to keep it in good con i need some thing to go back and to work in,, along come the van:thumb: then i got a type r which was a little too big for the garage! then started to get offered parts for the nova it started with springs then wheels the seats .......i think you get the pic!!!!

then there was the day i hoped would never come the nova or the civic had to go to help towards the house i was buying............................................ ............well the nova won i now drive a astra sport to work and the nova is still going !!!

it started life as a 1.2 with rusty door's and wing's but the shell was mint and still is to this day the back arch's rust free....

the splitter is off the nick's old nova!! which was pricy's and was the valet man x2.. and now i think is yours conad!!!!........ god that took some doing!! not got a clue what its off i only payed a ?5 lol lol lol lol for it!!!



so the story goes on !!!! after the sh$t of getting the 1.6 going i seen my ass and took it out wen the engine was out i fully seam welded the bay and smoothed every bit in!!!!! i had another sr which i took the block out of!

yeah i agree, it is totally fixable, but its money, and as iv now got the turbo iv lost all interest in fixing it (plus id get more money breaking it, what would you be wanting off it anyways?

yeah sure mate, your welcome to come down, its got a totaly mint origional interior in it, wouldnt mind getting re-trimed in semi leather though.

With the nova ready to paint it was time to invest in some new parts, I wanted some twin 40?s after finding a sent not to far from home on the irmscher manifold!!!

with nova back and the new parts coming fast its time to start on the block new piston rings, ARP rod bolts, water pump ,oil pump, being a welder i've made a few things up in work like the rally style bottom arm's and a moded sump with splash plate..

right last nights job was to fit my air box!!!! this has changed the sound of the carb's 100%!!! sounds ace.. all the sport bits must be worth some money head, carb's with vac advance(144-143) inlet, and airbox now!!!

right this weekend i had put a side to work on the nova the gear box is making a whining but i but think it is not the thrust bearing as that was new when i rebuilt it so i think the box is not liking the high reving:(

well on the way home from work my astra's pads started grinding so changed the disc's pad's and sensors on that!!! cold and wet
