Stitch welding is recommend over Seam Welding ;)

Someones been hump back bridge jumping methinks :)

Mate of mine did that to both sides of a MK2 golf. I was in it. It hurt :(

Looks setup.
Look how "clean" the cut is.
Its not like ripped off as its hit a bump, looks like its been cut..

And the fact that someone's obviously had a grinder in there, and the strut has been unbolted. Fair amount of rust too.

i dunno what pic you lot are looking at buit you can clearly see where the spot welds have been ripped off and the metal is bent

i had that happen on my old gsi but just popped the spot welds off and when i looked more it was a replacement inner wing?????
it did take me a while to figure out why the bonnet didnt shut properly anymore !

that happened to my dad in his mk1 escort years ago..bonnet was like a v.

still managed to drive it 3 miles home..lol

That reminds me of my first nova,it was getting a bit rough so decided to pull it apart and sort it out.I undid the strut brace and took it off heard a smashing noise and the windscreen smashed due to the hole front end colapsing.:confused:
