As some of you may have seen im selling my gorgeous astra coupe. Reason being is that the garage i work at is selling out to property developers so im trying to sort my dream out of owning and running my own garage and selling the astra will free up some wanted cash.
So what do you think ive bought to replace it? Im an avid vauxhall love and have had nothing else but. So bought a cheaper car, ive spent ?700.
Whoever guesses right gets a kiss.

Either that or you've gone totally off the trolley and bought something French. Hence NEEDING to have your own garage just to maintain the thing lol
I'm guessing you have bought another Vaux so my guess is a Ford Orion (Lee told me you kiss funny!)

Its a G4 celica thats the first GT4 and they're 185bhp. ?700 should get you one of those or an ST185. Bearing in mind once that 185bhp has been chomped thru the 4WD its quite a bit less ATW
If its a ford, im personally going round his place and violating him with a camshaft.

wont get a beemer for 700 unless its an E30 lol. Audi's are much the same. Most german stuff really holds its money. Could be an old dog eared passat lol

E30's rule, set up to oversteer from the factory. I'm lovin mine esp with this weather!!!

Yeah you may say i paid a wee to much for something thats leaking a bit of oil, Headgasket on the rear, but you can not being to see the condition this car is in, outstandingly mint.
3.0l 24v straight 6 Auto with LSD w00t w00t and as you can see for those in the know it has the later spec turbo wheels on. Ive always been partial to the toyota straight 6 as i beleive its the best one made, so finely balanced just so sexual.
I will get some better pics up after shes had a clay and in fine form. Cheers.

where i was working we had one. stright six, with hks everything massive t51 top mount turbo... 550bhp
Last time i saw one of those it was so rotten it had gaffer tape round the front arches to stop them completely disintegrating lol.

Nope not a jot, have been running it recently and its not overly bad, just depends on how you treat itlol
And for a 19year old car all the electrics work perfect even the lumbar on the drivers seat:cool: She is silky smooth. Hope to have her fully functional for the south meet:p

No it doesnt. If it did i think ill be crying but then ive never really had a car that was good on fuel other than the astra. My cav previous was a V6 auto with 3 litre cams in.

I was looking into buying one sometime ago, and inundated RJ with copias qeustions about them lol but the running cost coupled with the millenium falcon milage i do meant a no no :(

The astra is an excellent bit of kit, gorgeous but just too perfect, for me it had no character. The way it went round corners is brilliant, but all too effortless, my old cav V6 you had to wrestle it into the corners, it had to be set up to take corners quickly... I had it down to a fine art that the little hot hatches couldnt out do me, the exit speed i could get was brilliant especially with the tall gearing of the auto. So now its time for some fun again, but could get this horribly wronglol

Unfortunately no they dont. I started to remove the head, and the wiring loom is the most doopey thing ever, the way its routed, at least with a vaux you can unplug most of it and hang it over the wing, this you cant.

And good luck with maintaining it, took me 3 hours once just to change the sparkplugs on mine (which involved taking the entire charge cooler unit and most of the ducting off) lol

Well 2 1/2 hours later the cylinder head is off and have found the break in the gasket so thats rather pleasing. Book time says it takes 13 hours from start to finish... seems a bit long to me, but maybe im just that good.

But i tell you what, the fcuker can drink, i have been a little over zealous with the throttle (in car parks, if you catch my drift lol) yeah so anyway, ?56 of fuel.....200miles... result. Im going for a economy run with this tank of fuel lol
