HERE'S SOME PICS OF THE SUBARU

I know there's haters out there, so just don't bother posting/spamming!!

Nice colour, although I really wanted a silver one... It's an x-reg 2000 uk model, with 17 inch 2002 wheels. Thinkin of having them done anthracite? (First person to say gold gets shot LOL!)

Car has sat nav system (blaupunkt) Prodrive exhaust, some samco's under the bonnet and a green panel filter. I've got her booked in with Prosport in Stockport next week for check up and power run, and then we're looking at mods to get 280-300bhp, 250-280lb/ft torque. Prosport have a very good rep as Subaru specialists up here!!!

Agree with lower spoiler keep it black (unpainted) to match the rest

Then fog covers painted and fitted

Keep all original lights and fit these along with some d2 coilovers

I think you were closer when you said Compomotives. . . But i prefer the WR1 wheel or OZ superleggara personally......

Anyway, fog covers.......

They fit perfect the slots are there already. Went to HT auto's for my bits (plastic instead of fibreglass :-) so they'll last longer!) and they had an "interesting" subaru there.....................

22b widearch kit, cheesegrater rear spoiler etc...

But the best bit about having a subaru is that it's still quick in the wet!

Hhhhmmmmm nice Impreza yours is :D

As per spamming, i dont see why people hate them so much? They are sh1t at nothing and TBH excell at everything. What ever a Nova can do, these can do it ten times over :D

Only down side is there popularity really :S

Im sure the Type RA have differet rear lights, red upper and dark grey lower? Much like E36 M3's, just the two colours like.

Mike

what are you trying to say lol

Ill spell it out, Nova's are pretty sh1te in the wet lol but you know what they say, you can only drive what you can afford lol

What about some JDM (god those three letters are annoying me now) STI rear lamps?

IIRC they are half red and half white and really tidy up the back end.

Looks really nice Rick, if i was going to change to jap i would go for the scooby,as i think there less likely to break down and give you bank over drafts lol

Jack

Nice, would definitely get those wheels painted a darker colour though. Would really work well with the blue IMO.

Some of that power increase will be down to better fuel in japland - JDM ST205s are rated 15bhp up on UK models purely due to the fuel.

No fog lights on STI lights and the local police are aware and issuing ?30 defect fines and making you remove them or put on an extra fog light! I don't fancy either!!!

Looking good, missed this thread !

Be VERY carefull about where you take it, and exactly what they do to it ! A very good friend of mine has had no end of problems in the North West regarding a couple of "Reputable" places.

I'd highly recommend Steve Cottam (I think that's how it's spelt) He's located just north of preston ! I can get you some contact details if you like ?

Are you going down the ECUTECH route ? My friends Bug-Eye seems to have done really well from it, with and STi Cooler, Injectors, fuel pump and the STi turbo he's managed about 330hp all fully mapped !

Obviously it's not my car, but Steve seemed to be a totally sound bloke and does everything by the book. He maps everything live on a laptop too !
