Cut the wire for the reverse light and take a wire from the original fog light and join it to where the reverse light went I think...
My both fog lights work.

or do what i did, remove the bulb lol
If your wanting to ditch the fog light and run 2 fogs then all you've gotta do is take the wires from the reverse light and bridge them onto the fog lamp wires, just tape the reverse ones up (maybe unplug it from the gear box ?).
Is it not a bit dodgy not having a reverse light though? I dont mean because of the law more the fact that people wont know if you are reversing or not. I was just wondering thats all...
Its not a legal requirement to have a reverse light, it'll make your life easier tho if you keep it ... hard work reversing in the dark with no reverse light !!

or just turn both your fogs on for some uber red lighting:thumb:

cheers, so just cut the reverse light wire leaving a tail, tape up the wire running to the gearbox. then run a wire from the other side(foglight) and join it to the tail i left on the other side(reverse wire)just making sure :thumb:
The wiring comes from the passenger side anyway so no need to run wires across from the fog light, just need a couple of them blue connector / clip things that allows you to join a wire to an excisting one.

Cant mind off hand, but if you remove the bulb holder from the light you can trace the tracks from the bulb to the plug.
Pretty sure the middle one is an earth.

Nope, reverse light isn't tested as part of the mot
