Mine has never worked, if your motor is knackered and you have broken down, it is not a good idea to sit there with your lights on anyway as the battery will die in no time at all, silly idea by vauxhall, me thinx.

I haven't got a light in my 1400sr bonnet. Just got a hole. Gutted or what!?? NOT! Maybe I should cable tie a nice duracell torch through the hole, do you think anyone could tell the difference??!! At least it won't drain my car battery!

I used mine a lot.....very useful in certain circumstances, like in the winter time and it's dark at 4 and you have to check your oil, or like when I noticed I had a smell of fuel on my way home so stopped in the middle of the countryside (in the pitch black) to have a quick look.....it's very bright if clean.
Comes on with side lights btw, so you don't have to drain your battery.
