No other MS fits a nova servo, as all nova MS's are the same.

You can fit a MK2 Astra servo and MS though. The problem is finding them, theyre rare as rockinghorse poo. You need the small ally bar that goes from the transfer bar to the servo from the astra as well, and cut it down just right.

Saloony's done this mod, its worth asking him if you go this route :)

Only certain mk2 astra MC's are worth fitting though. Its probably worth chatting to someone at a good motor factors.

Indeed, sorry, I forgot to mention you want a servo and MS from a GTe, or any mk2 astra running 256mm brakes, if there was such a thing.

Only the 16v GTE has a 22mm bore M/C.

Then you need it from an early car (pre ABS) & then need to narrow it down to the very first GTE 16v's which used horizontal fittings on the M/C. The slightly later F/G reg cars had a diagonal fitting, which means when bolted horizontally to a Nova servo will put the reservoir at a 45deg angle.

The other option is just use the Astra servo also.

If a mk3 Cav SRi has no ABS, then maybe that is a 22mm M/C??

Nova GSi servo was bigger than other models

Servo was bigger agreed, this on its own makes next to no difference tbh.

i was led to believe the bigger servo off the GSi/GTE was superior to the lower spec models

All it does is make it a tiny bit easier to press the pedal down.

Yes, early non ABS 2.0 Cavs have a 22mm M/C that fits straight on, no mods. I sold one on ebay a few months ago but I can't find any pics. They might be on my laptop, but I'm not sure.

Seizing the post... Is it possible to use the Servo of an Astra mk2 16v in a redtop Nova?

To adapt it is simple, just make 4 new holes in the body to fit it, as they are rotated 45 degrees. But is there then space for the inlet manifold? I'm not sure about.

Clarifying the doubt before, even the mk2 16v which doesn't have ABS has a 22m M/C.
