alternator disebley ??

im abit stuck with my alternator of the xe motor,

ive managed to completley disemble it apart from the part inside nearest to where the pulley would be, its the part on the other end of the shaft that the pulley bolts to,
i can see that theres 2 small screws that i cant get to holding this part in the alloy housing and they need to be removed so that i can withdraw it from the alloy housing

anyone ever done this before and know how to do it?

ill post a pic later to give a better idea of what im talking about

Mr Matthew. without the graphical aid of such pictures it is hard for me to visualisate the problem. are you trying to remove the remainder part of the casing? you may have to remove the pulley to pull the housing and bearing off the shaft. have you removed the brushes part to allow the sliprings to slid out from the brushes? i cannot understand this post. i must wait for pictures. :(
