Well its gone now anyway looking at this.

In all fairness that should have wiped the floor with mine an a lot of others last year with what it had fitted, which was probably a little bit over kill for 500bhp imo but the best it ran was a low 13.
Wonder where the engine has gone if it is still complete.
At Totb it wasn't running its "proper" turbo tho was it?
A smaller replacement was fitted the night before totb, as there was problems with the original.
The original turbo did **** itself the night before.
A good mate of mine knows Adam the owner and to be fair Adam just never got the chance to get the car running to its full potential in front of anyone, esp totb.
It clearly had the power (proven I might add) to kick a few people into touch but the setup was FAR too agressive for fwd imo, it was all or nothing, it looked to be wheelspinning through most of the gears and quite simply the car wasn't setup for it.
I have no doubt that whatever Adam comes out with next will impress people even more and I hope this time round it manages to lay the power down.
Nobody as yet has proven that a big turbo setup is any good for drag racing, modified kkk's still lead the 1/4 mile table, the problem with all these huge power engines is somehow you need to lay all this power down without the use of 12" wide slicks.
People need to think outside the box and stop expecting a 20 year old chassis to handle having 5 or more times the power it was ever intended to have put through it.

Forgot about speccy in the tigra, obviously not on a kkk but the car still has far more potential with the power he has, same goes to you Phil, hopefully your geometry looks better than car build or its no wonder your car wont lay the power down lol, it definately has the potential of being much faster if you think more of grip than power.

The launch control on the tigra was what helped that do so well imo, same as the golf that won our class.
I never actually saw the nova run but looking under the bonnet I would say there is no way its power came in nice an smooth lol.
When ive had my fun with the corsa I have been toying with the idea of reshelling it into something else rwd. Problem then though in fwd its not difficult to be competitive in rwd an 4wd some serious money needs to be spent to be at the top.
Least in fwd I can kid myself that its actually fast lol
1/4 mile times aside there is always something about wheel spinning off the clock that puts a smile on your face.

Give me a Corsa C Z20 anyday over a nova. Adam was saying how much nicer the corsa was to drive than his Nova ever was.
I can imagine it makes a really nice useable car Rick.
I expect that once you fit as 500+ hp Zlet is would become as useful as a big power nova let, maybe just slightly more refined.
Phil, put it in a Manta or a Chevette :)
