Just a guess but near / behind the oil filter, there will be two wires, one for the oil switch and one for the oil pressure. Blue/green and blue/yellow come to mind.

yes that is where the pressure transducer should be. i am starting to think that you have not got a transducer. and this is leading to your confusion. am i the one who is correct?? hmmm

the transducer for pressure reading and switch are in the same unit iirc.

am i right in thinking that the transducer is the bell shaped unit that screws in behind the lower pully at the belt end of the engine? and is roughly 2 inch long.(yes i know that question sounds dodgey but it's the best way i can describe it)
