Im soon to embark on the fitting of an XE to a Nova, how does evrybody overcome the heater matrix and cluctch bracket interferance with the inet manifold ??

Heater Matrix - get yourself a 'flexi tap hose' from B&Q ect ... you've gotta chop some of the platic housing away and file the Matrix pipe slighty to get it to slide over, pretty simple to do and keeps it well out the way of the inlet manifold.

Sound tip mate, what about clutch cable ??

Just stick an extension bar thru the clutch cable hole and bend it down a bit (towards gearbox), make sure your mounts (especially the rear g box mount) are good, this will stop the engine rocking back and bending / snapping the clutch cable.
I've never had a prob with clutch cables on XE's or my LET.

Is that a recongnised Vauxhall method of adjustment ?? lol
