Gear Linkage for 2.0i 8v

I'm putting my 2.0i into my little one litre beast. What do i need to do with the gear linkage? I am taking the engine and box out of another nova and that worked fine so can i just use that one? How do i take it out etc?

the gear linkage will fit onto your existing bits, just make sure you have a 5 speed gearstick, then use the haynes book method to adjust the linkage. It would probably be a good idea to put in new linkage bushes

where bouts do i disconnect it from? Do i need the five speed stick? I know the four speed one dont say 5th on it but it should still work shouldn't it? I'm just gunna go ripspeed and geta fancy one anyway

most of the selector is attached to the engine mount... take the 5 speed stick off the sr.... 1.0 etc can be different...

so just use all the linkage and moving parts off the sr yeah?
