ok 3rd problem thids week!!!!
when driving i've recently getting a really bad metal on metal scraping noise,
i know its a long shot but any ideas?
could be your breaks, metal to metal, new pads? dads astra needs doing, we found out last night
When braking? Or just wehtn driving?

just when driving, when on full lock the car sort of hops sometimes too, but the scraping is new

all the time, i'va had a look at my brakes as much as i can see and they seem ok from what i can see

yeah 60mm but had no problems before just the last week
is it when your accelerating hard ? get one of your mates to drive behind you and look for sparks or somethin ?

no just when moving all the time, fast or slow, could it be gearbox oil low? how do u fill it up?
this post is ridculous!
Where does it sound as though its coming from, come on give us a slight clue!

sounds like drivers side front and i can feel it through the steering wheel and pedals slightly and its loud

changed them 4 months ago both sides
dont mean to take the piss, but you deffo done them correct?

jack the car up an rotate the wheels an then u can see where its coming from
also push up + down on the os front corner, see if you hear a scrape, grab the wheel and give it a firm shake, check bushes etc, just have a feel + visible check first.
