Right ive got a heck of an electrical fault.

my car sbeen thru 3batteries, they just dont seem to stay charged, my drivers side leccy window has stopped working and my C/L doesn unlock on the passenger side.

its got a Toad AI606. and tbh it looks asif it was bodged in..

my mate fits them all day long and is fully Q'd and he says hes going to have to rip it all out and start again.

but some of the wires on the loom look to have been split/spliced so would it be easier to get a different loom and fit that aswell as the alarm to the new loom?

if so what loom should i get, sri/gsi etc?

car atm is a 1.2i but it will be a 2.0 soon.

TIA

get a nother 1.2i loom

They are deceptively easy to change, for a first timere from start to finish (you doing loom, mate doing alaram), youre porbably looking at maximum 3hours?

i have the exact alarm and it drains the battery big time, i took the alarm off to check and had no problems at all, so i imagine its your alarm toad ai606

No! DONT get another 1.2i loom, they are fapping enourmous, and the engine harness is integral to the car loom. When you come to fit the 2.0 youll have to either spend a day cutting it down, or pull it out and replace it again.

Get a carb'd nova's car loom for the converion, and put up with the faults until then.

Unless its not going to see the 2.0 for months lol
