b spec cams

last night he started telling me something about cams stamped with a B are special in some way i think:confused:. to be onist a wasnt really paying attention and so cant remember exactly, so could anyone shed any light on this??

LMFAO! I remeber some one some time ago going on about them? And apparently there meant to be good?? Or something???

My nova gte cam was stamped B.
As are most 1300SR cams.

According to Haynes the 1600s should have a "D" cam. Both of my 1600 engines came with cams stamped "B" too though so that's what I'm using.

Ill have to check my other 1.6 engine and see what cam is in that then me thinks...
