Its that time again after 6000 miles it time to give the old girl a good seeing to. :o

Theres always lots of new stuff coming out. So any ideas on what plugs, oil and filter I should use and where should I get them from?

Would it be wise to change my HT leads as they look well old but if they aint broke why fix'em :?

plugs = NGK R
oil filter = champion G103
leads = halfords standard of bosch if u wanna splash out.
oil = 15/40 synthetic (Castrol Magnetec for basic engines 15/40)
coolant = 2L halfords nice blue stuff (?5.99).

with coolant, empty it all out into a bucket or similar, then undo the bottom hose off the expansion bottle, push a hosepipe conector inside it and turn thre hose on so it pushes clean water through the system. not recomended to use flush as it can fuck up ur pipes iv herd.

when i swop my oil i empty it all out, then put in 1L of fresh stuff, run the engine for 20 secs, then empty that out becuz over half a litre is still held inside the engine when u drain the oil out, and its mixed in with the fresh stuff.
