*Sport owners, I present the Holy Grail! Pre-cut decals*

[Novasport]

As some of you may be aware I am in posession of an original Irmscher 3M decal set for a Sport.
I heard a sign company was making replica decals that were good quality but fade and stripes were seperate and not pre cut.
I approached the owner who said he was willing to replicate the pre-cut decals if he could use my decals as templates so I sent them off to him.

I have recieved my original set back today undamaged and was also supplied with a brand new set of his decals, all I can say is...
WOW!!!:eek:
His standards have to be high as he supplies a lot of RS decals to the Ford boys and I am very picky about attention to detail as you may have seen from my project http://www.pngclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68132. I am very impressed with the quality & the handle apertures have also been tweeked to fit with later doors as most people do not have originals now(He can also supply them for original doors)

As you can see, the cutting is to a good standard and radiused on the corners like the originals. Only thing I cannot check yet is the fit as its going to be a while before I fit them. I am sure they will be spot on and as good as 3M's/Irmschers as they have been copied from the orignals.

They price is very reasonable, well a bargain at less than ?150 I think. It also can come with an abrasion guard to protect the finish.

Oh, the fiddly little Sport decals for the quarters are also profile cut and put on backings to line them up correctly to stripes like originals.
The Bonnet decal logo is also part of the sticker.

3M aint interested anymore, I have been told they do not have the artwork either.
They used old technology originally which they probably dont use anymore, these are produced in a more modern way

I made a VERY accurate template of a new door for him and he sent me a sample to check fitment on my doors which were spot on.

You could label em 3M and nobody would be any the wiser, the quality is that good

Right, I have spoke with the the decal guy and I have agreed a bargain price of ?135 including postage to anywhere in the UK inc NI as long as he gets an order for 20 sets of decals. Looking at the list that should not be a problem.
I think these are well worth it as RSR used to sell them for near on ?300 and PNG ones weren't much cheaper and these are far better quality!
He will need a deposit of ?50 for each set paid by Paypal and the remainder just before he ships them out.
If you do not have Paypal let me know and I can make alternative arrangements.
He will need to know whether early or late door handle apertures are required and number of sets needed, so make sure you include this info nd your address on the payment.
Please send payment to sales@dmb.uk.com by Sunday 10th Feb which gives you 14 days.

?155 is correct and he will need ?50 deposit.

All that faffing around for 4-5mm each way?! surely if its that close then a single set could be made to cater for both? With measuring tolerances id say there could be less difference than that!

Beleive me, it makes a difference but that is the attention to detail I like to put into everything I do.

This is a tester piece we did, an early precut set on a later door.

It also affected the overall length being short one end & overlapping the other!

I wasnt happy with that as most other people may be so got them cut correctly and now its spot on.
