Can you still buy the cover that goes on the bulkhead and firewall if you know what i mean ?

oh the carpet?

Good luck finding one, they fall to bits when you take them off. I scrapped my GSi with it still in place

i prefer the look with these fitted , but i dont like the fact that the carpet/foam backing traps water against the bulkhead ,

ive seen loads of sr etc just crumble under it lol

just spray the bulkhead black then, best of both worlds lol

Yea but i cant do that it has to be origanal, So have to see if they can just tape it up

The afm silicone hose was custom made, You cant buy them

I took the bulkhead firewall off for welding and spraying. You have to take off the steering rack and also the brackets that hold the brake torsion bar on, the rest is straight forward. It was standard on mine as it was a diesel. And BTW there was no rust underneath it - maybe because it was an oil spluttering diesel that kept the bay kinda rust-free

Well i havent got to worry about taking things of as everything is coming off or the respray and ill leave it to the body shop to do. But the main thing i wanted to know if there were any places that still sold them new. So looks like ill have to try and use the one ive got again
