this is the car in question, ignore the bonnet vent (need my standard one spraying), im not really a fan of the gsi bumper without a splitter, looks unfinished. which one do you think would look the best? i know a laguna one would be the safe option, especially the one with no holes but im not sure.

has anybody ever fitted a new cupra splitter to a nova? iv seen it on most other cars and looks great, would it look ok or just plain sh1te?

i want something a bit different from the laguna styled ones...

As mentioned laguna without holes, looks very smart as it follows the lines of the gsi bumper (if fit correctly). It's what i'm changing mine to ;)

Seat Ibiza GTi looks good

Golf VR6 one looks sick (ol' skool) but is almost 100mm deep

Front & Rear Bumpers should match dude whatever you choose !

IMO Unpainted bumpers only look good on SR's & SRi's that have the door vinyls too :)

i know how well the laguna one can fit as iv got an espace one on my other nova (same shape) and its fitted properly, and is VERY low lol. but im wanting this one not to be as much of a pain in the ass and just want something a bit smarter looking.

The mk4 astra one on Jim's old bumper is the only splitter I've ever liked on a nova.

i think il give it a go then and see how it looks. cheers guys.

If the car is staying that low I don't think it needs a splitter. You'll have nothing but trouble negotiating speed bumps and high curbs. From an aesthetic point of view, the car looks well balanced as it is.

Agree with Jim. I doubt the plain Laguna/Megane will give any hassles with speed humps though unless the bumper clears by mm.

I've never seen the mk4 Astra cabriolet turbo splitter on anything however. Probably due to Vauxhalls extortionate parts pricing system. Its deepish (60mm at a guess) but has a single chiselled look vent in it on either side.

i havnt got any suspension on it at the moment but it will be that low once its done. my other nova is down 80mm front and back with an espace splitter on the gsi bumper, i know exactly what you mean about speed bumps/high curbs/ants in the road/etc lol

check my projects thread for pics of a gsi bumper with a mk4 astra splitter (jims old one), look how low that it and its only down 60!

aslong as its not as low as my white nova then il be happy. i think an astra one will be ideal :)

I've got something a little different for sale.

A two piece splitter removed from a postal van.
Think its a Vaux.

Its fairly plain and quite deep.
I never got round to fitting it so its completely un-molestered.

I'll try and get some pics.

Do it, I might be interested.

Perhaps put up measurements of depth & width etc too.

I think it's from a Vauxhall Combo... which would make it the same as the Corsa C splitter.
