Respray -to pearl or not to pearl?

Right then im having a respray soon and will be having it done in the standard red that my nova is, the sprayer has asked me if i would like it lacquered & if i want a pearl in it or not, so im just after opinions really. Will just a base colour polish up well?

most metalics are pearl,does he mean a 3 stage pearl?mazda do a nice 3 stage pearl but its got a zarilic tinter in it (very expensive).they put it on them 4 door coupes.

Also pearl in a laquer,you dont put pearls in laquer,some motor bikes have tinted laquers

I'd defientley go for the orange pearl, everyone seems to be getting stuck with the same old modifications!, this would make it stand out more, especially with the body kit, go for it mate.

Whatever top coat you get make sure it's a UV resistant one is the only advice I can give.
