i bought a set of sr speedo clocks (mk1) off ebay and just wondered how or if you can wind the mileage back, if you can how can this be done. thanks in advance :thumb:

you need to jack the front wheels up and put it in to reverse, and run it as far back as you need it to be

remove the speedo drive from the gearbox and put it in a drill chuck on reverse my mate told me down the pub

Depepends on how patient and how mechinically minded you are.
I theres more than a fewthousand miles to do i couldnt be **** with the drill method, i took mine to bits and adjusted them manually.

Agree with loggyboy...

Its not hard to take the unit apart and adjust the drums.
Can be a bit fiddly but much better than using a drill.

i did these yesterday out of boredom, took me 10 mins with a selection fo screwdrivers and some plyers
