This is odd as its never happend to me be for. My drivers side light has gone out. iv changed the blub still no luck. i put a wire tester on the live and earth wire. I have found i have live. But no earth. But all the other lights works.
anyone have a idea.
also where abouts is the earthing point for the side lights.
Thanks tom
The thickish brown cable that bolts to the inner wing in the engine bay is the headlight earth iirc.
if you get stuck you should be able to bodge it by puting an eyelet on the wire an screw it body

if there was a problem with the brown earth wire you talk about i assume there would be also with the earthing strap between the gearbox and engine? unless it is mounted elsewhere on your model. If this is the case your engine wouldnt start. id suggest using a multimeter to test for continuity first between the brown wire that attaches to the body and your earth wire in the socket of your light. thus checking for breaks in the wire
