having trouble finding an engine

hi all, last week the little 1.0l went pop and i am now left with no car, my neighbor has soffered me an engine he had out of his corsa its a 1.2i. he has told me that my carb and coil will go on it and will work ok. but im a bit unsure so fort i wud ask you if this would work and are the engine mounts the same

think its just one mount you have change mate but not sure what one it is

You'll also need to get a load of fuel injection gubbins...

[edit] scratch that, you want to put the carb on lol. You'll probably need to make an adapter for the carb, or will the 1.0 manifold mate to the 1.2 spi (assuming its an early spi engine) head?

no it wont work matey , if you want to fit the spi then you might aswell buy a tank , lines and FULL car loom from a scrapper 1.2i
