View Full Version : Fitting SideSkirts WITHOUT Clips?

Hey, Im Wondering if anyone has fitted GTE/GSi skirts without using the clips.
I really cbf'ed with the hassel of chasing vauxhall up for some.
Any ideas Really appreciated!

could you use rivets and glue rivets to go at the ends off the skirts (i dunno just a idea pmsl)

You can screw them on if you like. Mine came like that. But you have make sure to protect the holes as best you can or they will just rust.

TigerSeal is awesome stuff for the skirts, has mine held no problems.

Not a bad idea, spose then i dont have to worry about Rusty holes lol

As Dar says, Screw them on ... use the holes on the bottom of the skirts (where them pop stud type clips go on), basically just drill the holes in the sill then use a self tapper and a repair washer, done it like that a couple of times, just make sure you treat the metal where you've drilled.

stuck mine on over two years ago with tiger seal and bolts from the underside still on now
