15 x 6 MO's with a 45 / 49 offset should clear the rear springs / coilovers fine, may need to trim / fold the rear arch lip.
Fronts should be fine clearing the arches, depends on what coilovers / spring length / how low your planning on going as to wether they'll clear the springs / spring seat tho.
They 'should' be ok tho ?!?!

7j is faar too big.

Some 15 inch 6j 49 offset wheels and some 195/45 profile tyres would cure that perfectly.

EDIT .. Too slow again lol

Wouldnt a lower offset, 20 or so, on a 7" rim clear the coils?

Yeah they would clear the coils no bother, but they'll stick out past the arch a good inch or so !!

I doubt the wheel would rotate at all with a 20 offset lol. Researching wheels for Dans wide archer, the best offset we came up with on an 8inch rim was approx ET25. I think an ET20 would struggle to fit under a wide arch!

ooops! :tard: i really need to get some vauxhall knowledge into my brain lol
Its just that i have 8`s on my polo which are ET15, and they are about on line with the arch, bit of a strech tucks the tyres so it doesnt rub:thumb:

Whats the standard offset on say a sr?

pretty much all (FWD) vauxhalls are 49mm offset (some 47.5mm)

standard nova alloys are 5.5j 47.5mm (some 49mm)

You 'can' get 7J rim's to run fine in Nova arches with coilovers. You have to get rid of the arch lip and be very precise on the offset. However that is the absolute maximum you will get without making the arches bigger. You still need to run a 195 wide tyre though.

The wider you go the smaller the offset needs to be to keep the wheel away from the inner arch. For example if you run a 6j wheel with an offset of ET49 then to keep the the inner edge the same distance away from the inner arch on a 7j wheel the ET will need to be ET36. Your wheel would stick out more by the full inch.

Obviously in the 'real' world you have space to play on both the inner and outer arches. Here is a offset calculator if you need it (http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp)

10mm spacers are far from ideal, where are they catching, spring / spring seat ??
Do the coilovers use helper springs ? might be worth removing them if they have, will allow the spring seat to sit a bit higher if thats what the wheels catching on, or slighty shorter springs.
