Hi everyone...
Its been so long im suprised i remembered a username and password!
Hope everyones keepin well, only managed to keep in touch with a few "old schoolers" on msn and facebook. Had a very busy couple of years and perhaps not participated as much as id have liked but like to think I keep tabs on things and still have a poke around now and again!
Anyway im after a bit of advice from any show and shine type members about protecting polished metal and chrome? (or anyone else for that matter!)
I read on a classic car website that its best to clean and polish your car in preparation for the winter, then apply a thin layer of wax or oil over all polished and chrome parts. Is this the best way to go about it?
What does it mean by "wax" or "oil"? i.e hair wax and cooking oil aint no good!
Any tips guys?
Looking forward to gettin back in touch with people and visiting the shows this year. Cheers
Mike
