A539's are good! Toyo's s/r's are good aswell but are slightly more expensive!:thumb:

I use the Marangoni Zeta Linea tyres on my daily drive and found them to be very good.
Reading a few reviews on the Federals (The ones Stuart pointed out) and they seem to be a decent tyre. For the price I would go for them:thumb:

ive just been tryin maragoni's and they, aint a bad tyre eaither, i also use the federals (super steels s95). i used the federals for 2years, and i realy carn't say a bad thing about them.
my opinion is they are both decent tyres, but id have the feds.
top branded tyres wear to fast, althought you get good grip.
depends what your after from a tyre really

I have ordered from camskill in the past and found them to be quite a good company.
camskill are great to deal with:thumb:
yep, fantastic service, good advice/help (I forgot to measure the tread depth when new on my tyres, a quick email and they went and measured a new set for me)
really good prices and open to suggestions for tyres to get in stock too.

I really dislike any Yoko's I've used on a Nova (A539 included) I just dont think they suit the way a Nova handles or puts its weight down. My faves have been Michelin Pilot exalto's.
I need to buy a set of 195/45/16" tyres & am going to try a set of Vredestien's as EVO mag praised them highly into 2nd place after Good Year Eagle F1's. (much cheaper)
Just to note that many Japanese tyres are developed for use on Asphalt, not tarmac like we have on UK roads. Prolly why Yoko's are so shi-te.
craig, these? (but obv in the wrong size)

Poor pic. But the specific model EVO praised so highly, particularly in the wet.

toyo prox's on my speed lines were so good. they are really grippy and they lasted me ages. you can feel how grippy they are when you rub your fingers on the side walls. i compaired them to continentals and they are so much better!!!!!!!

Tyre debate could rage longer than the small block/big block debate.
You cant compare an old, ageing set of tyres to some spanking new ones either.
indeedy, just like you cant compare tyre grip by rubbing the sidewalls lol

toyo t1r are good mate!!!
I still rate Falken FK45x. Soft as feck, but very grippy. Those vredensteins may be worth a try next, when my gayhat kuhmos eventually wear out

ROFLMAOOO lol

I re-read my EVO mag last night. It was the Sessanta's in their test.
