radiator and fan on xe

hope this thread doesnt go on as long. rite tha radiator in my xe has a small leak at the top, the guy i bought the car off said it was odd a calibra?? not sure tho. has any one done anthing different then the gsi radiator?

Its not going to be a Calibra rad, just a Nova one.
I run a Valeo Part No: 883771 (I think).
Or you could put some of that stuff in the water to stop leaks.

done that done ok for a while just got to the stage where i want to get it sorted rite i thought it wouldnt just it doesnt meet up with any original mounting points.

Sling it and get a new one then.

i used a combo turbo diesel, i just cut the plastic lugs of the top were they mount on the combo, drilled a new 22mm hole for the rad to locate it in at the bottom made a little l bracket to hold it in place at the top. Worked a treat and it just so happens that i have a brand new one sitting hear that i wont be using ! it fits perfect looked like this when it was in the car, sorry not a very good picture camera phones lol

Use a 1.2-1.6 rad, I use a 1.2 rad on the corsa ffs so anything more is over kill.

Using a TD rad is pointless an stupid imo, just extra weight your adding.
