in a way gutted but in the other hand saved you a job i had a old cav 1.7td left it unlockedover a period off 3 - 4 nights hoping someone would rob it as i had enougth off it and i wernt lucky enough for anyone to take it dont blame them really lol..

there was an auld scrap roverfsitting beside the front gate /fence which is 10 feet high..

we were off for a few days in the summer................and when we came back...it was gone.

they musta went to all the hassle of lifting it over the fence with their hi-ab....

Why are people paying to get rid of scrap. In leics, they collect it & pay you.

I used to run a mk2 astra & I would regularly go to the council depot & sort out a set of free wheels & tyres off the heap. at the time a scrap car was worth ?5 minus a quid for each tyre left on it, so the locals took the car to the scrappy, took the tyres off & fly tipped them.

all i know here they give you ?30 for any car but if it has wheels on it they charge you ?5 per wheel they take off inc taking out the spare, so then you ask your self is it really worth it lol
