rev counter not moving???

first thing of a morning when i start the nova the rev counter does not work untill engine is fully warm, any ideas what it could be, dials are gsi ones and engine is a valva

have you got another set of clocks you can try ?? sounds like thats where the problem is ??

check the connector in the back of the dials or maybe the coil or wherever you wired it up to.

I had this on my old sr, bad connection and worked on and off when it wanted too!
