pug 306 brake lights aint working cecked the bulbs seem to be fine

now everytime i put my foot on the brake the battery light comes on on the dash any ideas anyone

Good old french electrics lol

Check the pedal switch, may be shorting out on the pedal and earthing out. Same goes for the earths in the back by the clusters, check your not getting a short.
