hi all, got bit of a rubbing situation, i have 16" speedline wheels with 195/45 tyres and when i get some in the back or heavy load in the boot its tends to rub on corners and bumps, its lowered 40mm on the rear just wondering if anyone has had this problem and solved it by rolling the arches if not would the inner lip have to be cut out, cheers

The arch lip can be ground off a little bit or rolled up by a bodyshop probably using some fancy tool. Or you can smack it up on itself with a hammer.

I am running exactly the same setup however I have some arch modifications which give a 10-15mm gap at the rear. 1. Arches are rolled, and 2. arches are very slightly 'pulled out'. It is the front that I'm going to have to get rolled - how's your's at the front?

dont cut the arch lip m8 i did and eventhough i sanded it, undersealed it the rust came through plus it weakens the back arch as thats were its spotwelded its costs a bit more to have it rolled but in the long run will be much better

or do what i did and put rubber towing rings in the springs and its stops the springs compersing fully when someone is sat in the back but when nody is in the car they have one effect does help for rubbing on bumps as well they sell them in halfords
