Just to be sure...

It goes - From the air filter to the turbo, then from the turbo to the intercooler and finally from the cooler to the throttle body?

Im just double checking lol before i buy miles of boost hose lol

Is it possible to have too bigger intercooler for the boost im running?? Not as in massivly huge, about half the size of GSi rad?

Well, core dimensions of 19x55x4cm?

Yeah, bigger bore boost pipes/ic=more lag.
Dont forget the afm between filter to turbo.

piping will be 2" throughout Ad, execpt any down sizing parts if the intercooler inlet/outlet 2.5" etc

Should be fine

Cooler sounds fine. 2" or 2.25" should be OK, it will size up to where it meets the TB anyway. Nearer 3".

Ive got the boost pipe for the T/B sorted, unsing a Sierra Cosworth T/B boost hose (2.5" ID) and already has a DV take off.

As for the cooler, its a choice of either a twin pass Renault 21T item, or a bigger Vivaro 1.9DTi.

I had a tranny van one on my LET for a while, seemed to work fine mate, I'd go with the van one!

What fits the bumper/frontal area. & think about the exit of the pipes too. Pointless choosing a cooler that needs 3 feet exta pipework & extra 90 degree bends which will sap boost, cost more in Samco etc.

lol i think that may be a little toooo big :D

Craig, both the 21 Turbo and Vivaro item will fit snug, but the Vivaro item is more of a proper front mount, where as the Renault item is more like the I/C you had on your 1.6T (a small, twin pass style item)

Me thinks the Vivaro item will be best, as its got 52mm outlets that are 90 degree elbows at each end. And its cheap, like the budget lol
