it wasn't even good telly when it was on originally.
ooh clarkson builds a dragster, & vicky gbh builds a tarmac rally car, then they race round an airfield, but not fast enough to overtake the van with the camera in.......... as its clarkson's show lets bet on the outcome......

the nova was probably a sport model, but in those days they were not worth anything.

come on, if clarkson paid you to come second in a made up race, or risk not working with cars on the telly again, you would come second. ever heard of the saying ' he who pays the piper calls the tune'?
