What is this broken cable?

Any ideas? The rev counter, Oil pressure and engine temperature dont work on the dash,-However the car has a different engine temperature gauge in the air vent by the hazard light.
Im not all that bothered at the moment as I plan to fit a digi dash later down the line, But I will need to sort these issues out then, so im guessing this is to do with one of the above?

Take it its an XE in a Nova ??
The wires the oil level sensor which isn't used, i've always just chopped the wire off completely.

Howcome you chopped yours off? I use mine but the lights always on no matter how much oils in it!

The dash light is pressure not level!

The level light is on the mfd in the donor car iirc. Which of course a nova doesn't have.

If he is planning on using a Digi dash then the oil level sensor can be used if i remember rightly?

Digi dash only displays pressure too.

Yeah, chop it off or just cable tie it out of the way.
