Evening folk, just a quick one for you.

I bought a mtech rear disc conversion from a mate, and i was just looking at the instructions that you get with it, its in regards to the handbrake cables.

It tell's me to use one from a Opel kadett 16v, Part no GM 90 279 542

I had a look on my epc disc but couldnt find that number? am i right in saying its an astra Gsi?

Also looking at the pics on the instructions, there is a metal bracket attached to the handbrake cables? does this come with the cable itself

Handbrake cable is astra gsi yes.

You should have a bracket with the kit that is basically aeroplane shape with 2 tubes for wings and tube up front.

yeah i have that part. The one i mean seems to be bolted to the end of the handbrake lever, looks like a bit of u shaped with holes in it to hold the two cables
