1.7td engine

complete 1.7td running an F13 WR TD box with 1.5 fly wheel and clutch
upped boost and fuel, white ring mod, (does not run in car)
you must take car away tho,

car had no doors, bonnet, bumpers grill, lights, no front brakes ect:
Hinges have been removed with doors!
lowered 60mm on springs, and astra gte alloys,

once removed this will bolt stight into a 1.5 TD, using the same mounts and your orginal 1.5 driveshafts and wiring loom

Baxter did you ever have or hear this running? if so what's it like? mileage etc?

yes iv had it running, milage is approx 90k (but no prof)

if your drivers mount is inside the arch then yes :)

that ?150 now includes a set of ATE's :)

its a nova, but not road legal

the problem is, is insurance, you would really need a TD shell,

as this was converted from a petrol shell, its a 1.7TDSR

and 90% of insurance companys wont touch it,

so as i say, this is more like replacing your 1.5td engine for this one

so does it have everything there to make it run & work? I would just need insurance and those body parts? Do you have any pics of the shell? Could i put a 1.4 petrol back in it if i couldnt get insured on the 1.7td?

take the engine out, and save any useful bits, then bin the shell, i'm sure you'll have some sort of diesel nova in the future that they'd come in handy for!
